Horn Group Makes Tech Additions

BOSTON Horn Group, an independent public relations and marketing communications shop, recently added several high-tech accounts to its roster worth more than $1 million in combined billings.

Signing aboard are ActiveState, Vancouver, Canada; Agile Software, San Jose, Calif.; Financial Times, Prentice Hall, New York; Harte-Hanks, Billerica, Mass.; Idenfift Software, Raleigh, N.C.; Lumeta Corp., Somerset, N.J.; and Serena Software, San Mateo, Calif.

The wins are significant because they underscore “a general warming of business activity” among business software and service providers, said Sabrina Horn, CEO of the independent agency, which has offices in San Francisco, Boston and New York.

Indeed, the tech sector appears to be on the rise of late, with several New England shops, such as BlackSheep Marketing, Lois Paul & Partners and the Burlington Group, also scoring new clients in that arena [Adweek.com, April 3].
