Joe Berkeley got his start in the business moving boxes around a warehouse.
Now a copywriter at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, Berkeley is working with the likes of art director Dick Pantano, a 28-year veteran. The duo served as the creative force behind the new TV spot for Advanced Micro Devices that features a two-dimensional set and figures
Berkeley, who interned at Hill, Holliday almost a decade ago, was nearly awestuck when he returned last year and found he would be paired with Pantano.
“I just remember biking from the warehouse and being all hot and dirty and seeing Dick in his convertible black Porsche driving around the block,” Berkeley said last week.
