Jim Heekin was named chairman and CEO of Havas’ Euro RSCG network, succeeding Bob Schmetterer, 60, who is retiring, the Paris-based holding company said last Wednesday. Heekin, 54, joined Euro as president and COO in October. The announcement came at the same time as a statement in which Havas said it “denies rumors … regarding alleged accounting irregularities” and has requested an investigation.
