Haystack Group Bolsters Senior Staff

ATLANTA Dave Faupel today joined The Haystack Group as managing director, a new position, the shop said.

Faupel will manage the daily operations of the Atlanta-based independent research and communications agency and report to Bonnie Ulman, president of the shop. Ulman handled the day-to-day operations of the office before Faupel joined, but now will focus on broader issues, such as expanding to other cities. Last month, the shop opened an office in New York.

Faupel will assist Ulman in developing the agency’s strategic direction in addition to providing senior counsel to clients and developing long-term plans for growth.
