Hawaiian Punch Partners With Bolt

Hawaiian Punch has launched an online design competition that invites teens to update the look of the brand’s product packaging. Hawaiian Punch’s month-long “Message on a Bottle” design contest, running exclusively on Bolt (www.bolt.com), encourages teens to submit their design ideas and ultimately select the new package design, which will then be introduced next year.

Teens can submit their ideas for redesigning the label of a 20-ounce bottle of Hawaiian Punch to Bolt by e-mail or regular mail and can enter to win a $1,000 grand prize or three runner-up prizes of $250 each. The new, teen-inspired design eventually will be produced on all other Hawaiian Punch packages, including 12-packs, 2-liters and 12-ounce cans marketed by Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. In addition, the new design will be featured on 64-ounce and 128-ounce family size plastic bottles and 6.75-ounce juice boxes and pouches produced by Dr. Pepper/Seven Up’s sister company, Mott’s Inc.
