SAN FRANCISCO — Goodby, Silverstein & Partners on Thursday was awarded Saturn’s $300 million creative account, immediately on the heels of winning the review for the automaker’s new Ion account, sources said.
The other contenders for the $35-50 million Ion business were incumbent Publicis & Hal Riney, D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York and Troy, Mich; McCann-Erickson New York and Wieden + Kennedy, Portland.
The decision comes a week after final pitches were held in Detroit.
