Gonzales Advances to VP at Tapestry

CHICAGO Tapestry, the $400 million multicultural media division of Starcom MediaVest Group, has promoted Danielle Gonzales to vice president.

Gonzales had previously overseen client services for the unit, which specializes in media planning and buying for minority markets. In her new role, Gonzales will add some planning duties on all of the agency’s accounts and will be responsible for new business. She will report to Tapestry managing director Monica Gadsby.

Gonzales, 29, has worked on many of the Chicago agency’s clients including Miller, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney and Kellogg Co. She began her career at Starcom on Philip Morris’ general-market account.
