Supermarket chain Giant Eagle is eyeing three finalists in the review for its estimated $15 million advertising account, according to sources.

In the running are Doner, Southfield, Mich., The Richards Group of Dallas and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, sources said.

Ferrell Calvillo, New York, had previously worked with Giant Eagle for eight years. “We did not participate in the review,” said agency partner Ricardo Calvillo. He attributed Giant Eagle’s decision to hold a review to the recent arrival of svp/marketing Laura Karet, a former Procter & Gamble executive.
