Agency Breaks With Andover Bank in Favor of No. 3 in Market
BOSTON–Gearon Hoffman will introduce Sovereign Bank to the New England marketplace.
The Boston-based agency picked up the bank’s $5 million regional account following a review in which Mason & Madison, New Haven, Conn., and RDW Group, Providence, R.I., were finalists.
Sovereign will launch locally this spring as the region’s third-largest bank, trailing FleetBoston Financial and Citizens Bank, due to complete its buyout of USTrust early in the first quarter.
