Frost Not a Candidate for Coke Marketing Spot

NEW YORK The Coca-Cola continuing its search for a chief marketing officer now that Geoffrey Frost, corporate VP-global marketing and communications for Motorola’s personal communications sector, is no longer a candidate, sources said.

Stephen Jones, the current Coke CMO is expected to leave the organization in the coming weeks. It could not be determined if Frost turned down an offer from Coke, or if the company did not make an offer. But sources said Frost had met with Coke executives about the possibility of joining as CMO or in some other marketing capacity. Frost was traveling and could not immediately be reached for comment. A Motorola representative declined comment. A Coke representative said, “Stephen Jones is the chief marketing officer of the Coca-Cola Co.”
