Foxwoods Casino Looks Beyond Incumbents

NEW YORK Foxwoods Resort & Casino has been meeting with undisclosed agencies about a “special project,” although a representative for the Pequot Indian-owned gaming establishment said it would not affect the client’s relationships with its current roster shops.

The creative portion of the Mashantucket, Conn.-based casino’s $25 million advertising account is handled by Trahan Burden & Charles of Baltimore. Omnicom’s SpikeDDB in New York is responsible for multicultural marketing.

“There is no review being conducted,” a Foxwoods representative said. “We’re only talking to agencies about a special project. This won’t affect our relationship with TBC or SpikeDDB.”
