FCB Enters Hunt for New Business

NEW YORK Foote Cone & Belding said it has hired Kim Hunt as director of new business development for its headquarters office here, effective immediately.

Hunt, 32, held the same position at WestWayne in Atlanta and replaces Jason Kahner, who left FCB one year ago. Hunt reports to FCB New York president and CEO Steve Centrillo.

In a statement, Centrillo praised Hunt’s relationships with agency search consultants, saying, “We are excited about Kim’s arrival at FCB and believe that her experience, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm for new business, will make an immediate contribution to our agency.”

Hunt also has worked on new business at the New York office of Publicis Groupe’s Saatchi & Saatchi and in account management at Havas’ Arnold and WPP Group’s Grey.

FCB is owned by Interpublic Group.

Hunt said, “FCB is embarking on one of the most exciting times in its history. With a brilliant new management team in place and a ‘full-contact’ approach that’s unlike any other in this industry, there’s no agency I’d rather be a part of.”
