SEATTLE – EvansGroup here was forced to lay off 11 employees last week, after learning that the estimated $3-million Egghead Software account would become inactive for the indefinite future. EvansGroup landed the account earlier this year after Issaquah, Wash.-based Egghead let go its in-house advertising staff. Last week, Egghead laid off 40-50 people, including its marketing staff. The company has eliminated between 130-230 out of 2,000 jobs in less than a year.
