EBay Inc. and AOL Time Warner Inc. are broadening a longtime partnership, a move designed to advance both company’s marketing plans, Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal reported.

The companies today plan to announce a new three-year agreement under which eBay (EBAY) will advertise on AOL (AOL) print and television properties, rather than just the online services associated with America Online. Financial terms aren’t being disclosed.

While eBay has had a close relationship with America Online since 1997, the landscape has changed.
