LOS ANGELES — Internet service provider EarthLink has narrowed the search for an agency to handle its $40-50 million creative and media account to three shops, according to sources.

They are: Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami and Los Angeles; D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in New York; and Leo Burnett in Chicago, sources said.

The incumbent, TBWA\Chiat\Day in Playa del Rey, Calif., did not advance. TBWA\C\D representative Jeremy Miller said “We’re continuing to work as their day-to-day agency.”
