Draft Eyeing Europe After Buying KBA

Having closed its latest deal in the U.S., DraftWorldwide is setting its sights on European acquisitions.
The Interpublic Group of Cos. unit last week announced its acquisition of field promotions agency KBA Marketing here, a purchase that had been expected [Adweek, July 20]. It was the fourth acquisition in the past year for DraftWorldwide as it moves to expand beyond its direct marketing core capability to become a full-service marketing agency.
Agency chairman and chief executive officer Howard Draft said he now intends to shift the focus of acquisitions to Europe.
