NEW YORK Disney is canceling its Disney Mobile MVNO service, the company said, but it plans to find a new way to use the programming.

The service joins ESPN Mobile as the second Disney MVNO project that has been shuttered in less than a year.

The conglomerate said that “critical and consumer” reaction have both been mostly positive to the service, which runs on the Sprint network and provides applications that let parents monitor and limit their children’s phone use through the Family Center suite.
