DALLAS Dieste Harmel & Partners has picked up the Hispanic ad account of Washington Mutual, sources said.

The Dallas-based Omnicom Group agency won creative, media and promotions duties for the bank following a review that also included WPP Group’s Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados in Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Interpublic Group’s Casanova Pendrill in Irvine, Calif., according to sources.

Incumbent La Agencia de Orci & Asociados in Los Angeles declined to participate, sources said.

The agencies and the client could not be reached for comment.
