The newest exhibit at the Detroit Zoo is one featuring dead animals. No, not roadkill. Its Dinosauria, an exhibit devoted to dinosaurs and no doubt meant to

The TV and radio ads try to use sight gags to pique interest by comparing the size of a dinosaur’s brain to that of a walnut, and the size of its tail to a stretch limousine. In one spot, a voiceover compares the age of dinosaurs to Mr. Ed reruns, and says, ‘Let’s put it this way, compared to them, the pilgrims are kids. The pyramids are new construction. What we’re talking here is ancient.’
An outdoor ad reads, ‘150 million years before the Pistons, these were the Bad Boys.’ Although with the kind of year the Detroit Pistons had, that reference seems about two years out of date. And poking fun at one of its own clients, Ford (Doner handles Ford dealers), a print ad reads, ’75 million years before the Edsel, this was a dinosaur.’
