Media agency veteran Gene DeWitt has resurfaced to form a new strategic media consultancy in New York. A DeWitt spokesman said it was premature to discuss clients for the new venture, known as DeWitt Media Options. DMO is targeting both advertisers and agencies as potential clients. In a statement, DeWitt indicated that he’s prepared to advise prospective clients on their media buying and planning decisions in this year’s upfront market in June, when advertisers buy the bulk of their TV ad time in the 2005-06 television season.
