Deutsch Busts Old Navy Move

NEW YORK Old Navy will unveil its latest kitsch TV commercial this week for an item of clothing described as a simple slip-on garment made with or without sleeves.

The 30-second “Tunic” spot, via Interpublic Group’s Deutsch/LA, Marina del Rey, Calif., breaks tomorrow during Survivor and The O.C. and runs on network and cable through April 28.

In the ad, played out to Young MC’s “Bust a Move,” models cavort on the Old Navy “yacht” and on the beach adorned in the product.
