ATLANTA Pepco is looking for an advertising agency to develop educational materials for utility consumers in the District of Columbia.

According to Tom Welle, manager of brand advertising at Pepco, the D.C. Public Service Commission has enlisted the power company to oversee the selection process.

Requests for proposals are available from the utility. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Dec. 9 at Pepco’s offices in the district. RFPs are due back Jan. 9.

Welle said a committee would evaluate materials and a cut to semifinalists would follow.
