DaimlerChysler Teams with Martha Stewart

DETROIT — DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler Group is expected to unveil a multimedia marketing partnership with style maven Martha Stewart next week, according to sources.

The partnership will connect Chrysler with all of the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia properties, including web, radio, TV, magazine and events, sources said. Stewart will not appear in TV spots, but will participate in events nationwide linking the two brands, sources said.

Marketing will revolve around the concept of road trips. Stewart introduced a road trip section in the April edition of her monthly magazine that is sponsored by Chrysler. Chrysler’s agency PentaMark Worldwide, Troy, Mich., along with Stewart’s main agency, the Arnell Group, New York, are coordinating the relationship.

Spending on the partnership could not be determined. A Chrysler representative could not immediately be reached to comment on the partnership.
