There are two recurring themes in Ken Segall’s advertising life: computers and Lee Clow. Segall, having enjoyed stints at Chiat/Day, was recruited by Clow last month to join his hand-picked team dedicated to the resurrection of Apple Computer. The 47-year-old copywriter, who crafted ads for Apple, IBM, Compaq and Next, rejoined the agency as senior partner and creative director in New York. Having worked closely with Clow and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Segall, who describes himself as leading “a Macintosh life,” couldn’t help joining the history-making ad team.
