NEW YORK The Chicago office of Young & Rubicam has landed creative and media planning duties on Giant Eagle supermarket after a review, the client has confirmed.
WPP Group’s Y&R partnered with sister shop Maxus in Chicago to pitch the estimated $15-20 million account. Sources said that the choice came down to Y&R and Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson here, though independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago also presented work.
McCann’s media partner was sister shop Universal McCann in New York.
