After more than 25 years on the Boston agency scene, Betsyann Duval has found new life, and art, after advertising.
Since selling her controlling stake in Duval Woglom Brueckner & Partners, the former agency principal has spent the past two years pursuing her passions: painting and printmaking.
“My imagery is primarily natural and figurative,” she said. “My art evolves through a process of intuitive exploration.” Her work so far includes a series of cityscapes and several nudes (one shown).
“I’m surprised how much marketing [of the art] is required and how it eats into the time I have to actually produce my work,” she said.
