Chrysler Touts Dodge In New Ads

This week Chrysler Group rolls out two TV spots in the “Unleashed” campaign for the 2006 Dodge Charger. The Charger name is being dusted off after a nearly 30-year absence as Chrysler tries to recapture a share of the performance-car market with a campaign that focuses on the car’s muscular HEMI engine and flashy styling. Last week, Chrysler rolled out 30-second spots titled “Dragster,” which showed a Charger owner imagining himself in a drag race, and “Unleashed,” which depicted the driver being transformed from conservative to cool. “Bikers” debuts tomorrow, and then “Auction” on June 1. Both depict Charger owners daydreaming with pride about their new Charger.
