Cashman Touts Personal Care

BOSTON Cashman & Katz has launched ads supporting Personal Care Physicians, a concierge medical practice based in West Hartford, Conn.

Print ads tagged “The doctor will see you now” launched last week in local media. Text explains the concierge concept: Patients who pay a $2,500 annual fee have unlimited access to their doctors. Each doctor in the practice will take no more than 400 patients. Patients have around the clock access. The office itself has no nurses or physician assistants. All interaction is directly between the patient and the doctor.

Billings are in the low six figures. The work also features a public relations component, which the shop began several months ago.

According to agency principal Tony Cashman, “It’s an important account for our agency because we’re introducing a completely new approach to healthcare by primary care physicians not found in Connecticut in years. There are a few [concierge services] in Boston and in the New York area and other major metropolitan areas but for Connecticut, it’s a completely new concept.”

The client tapped independent Cashman & Katz in Glastonbury, Conn., without a review based on the shop’s healthcare expertise, which includes work for the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the National Kidney Foundation, Hartford Hospital and others.
