Carat Launches New Brand Unit

NEW YORK Carat North America today launched Carat Brand Experience, a new business unit that will focus on integrating live brand events into the communications plans of its clients.

CBE will design and produce live experiences such as sales meetings, mobile marketing events, road shows, seminars and product launches, according to the company.

The unit will operate within the Carat Specialist Communications Group, which also includes Carat Face-to-Face, Carat Speaker Placement and Carat Sponsorship Solutions. Dale Tesmond, previously managing director of Benchmark Marketing Services in Cincinnati, is joining Carat to head up the new unit as managing director. He will be based in Cincinnati.

“With the launch of Carat Brand Experience, we will be able to extend our clients’ brands even further by incorporating new and creative ways to integrate live brand experiences into the overall communications strategy,” said Dan Belmont, president of Carat Specialist Communications Group, in a statement.

Carat North America claims more than $4.5 billion in media billings.
