CHICAGO Lawn and garden care company Spectrum Brands has tapped Carat North America to handle media planning and buying on its $5-10 million account, the media service said.

The account will be managed out of the company’s Chicago office. “Spectrum Brands has terrific products, and we are thrilled to be joining their team,” said Carat Chicago managing director Susan Rowe in a statement. “We plan to complement their strategic approach to the media to ensure that the company meets its growth goals and exceeds its customers expectations.”
