Tahiti Tourism has narrowed the list of agency contenders for its estimated $1 million advertising account to five, including one Florida shop, according to sources.
The agencies competing for the creative and media account are Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown in Orlando, Fla.; Team One Advertising in El Segundo, Calif.; Houston Helm & Co. in Los Angeles; Pacific Communications Group in Torrance, Calif.; and incumbent The Phelps Group in Santa Monica, Calif., sources said.
The shops will proceed to make strategic presentations this month to the El Segundo-based client, with a decision expected in April, according to sources.
