Sony Pictures Entertainment has named Dwight Caines president of worldwide digital marketing. Caines, who reports to Valerie Van Galder and Marc Weinstock, co-presidents of Columbia Pictures Worldwide Marketing Group, Culver City, Calif., joined the studio 11 years ago and rose to strategic planner and lead creative executive for digital marketing efforts, which include the movie titles as well as Crackle, Sony’s online video site.
