BUYING ART, NOT MEDIA

Leaders from Glossier, Shopify, Mastercard and more will take the stage at Brandweek to share what strategies set them apart and how they incorporate the most valued emerging trends. Register to join us this September 23–26 in Phoenix, Arizona.

At Ogilvy & Mather,
Norma Krieger took her art buyer’s duties to a higher plane.
She supervised the New York agency’s in-house art gallery for nine years, taking art directors, copywriters, account executives and top management on what she calls an “internal creative odyssey.”
Krieger has taken her curator’s skills south. The newly appointed director of art buying at Long Haymes Carr in Winston Salem, N.C., said her mission is to transform the agency into a creative hothouse by exposing staff members to cutting-edge art and avant garde ideas on a regular basis.
