A new spot by Budweiser is a heartwarming reminder you don’t have to take home the trophy to be a winner.

Now that the NHL season has drawn to a close, Budweiser is raising a glass to the Vegas Golden Knights, a team that “rewrote NHL history” in its inaugural season. From the outset, not much was expected of the Knights—until recently, they were not much more than an idea. The inspiring video ad reflects how the team with 500-to-one odds came together to be the first expansion team to reach the Stanley Cup Final in 50 years.

The video follows the team's improbable journey as its odds quickly improve.

Budweiser’s video celebrating the season, called “500 to 1: This Bud’s For Vegas,” lauds the team and its city with powerful footage of its unlikely journey set to the tune of the Killers’ “Shot at the Night.”
