Via Breaks Push for PTC Software

BOSTON Via has launched a global advertising push for Parametric Technology Corp. that targets small and medium-size businesses.

The Portland, Maine-based agency is touting the client’s Pro/Engineer CAD software. The work is running mainly in vertical technology and business media.

“Since 2005, Via has worked with PTC on complex strategic engagements. Their knowledge of our markets, product line and value proposition put us in a good position to conceive and execute a winning campaign,” said Robert Gremley, svp, global corporate marketing at PTC, which is based in Needham, Mass.

One ad uses the headline “The power to create at any level” and shows successively more complex digging equipment, from a child’s pail and shovel to a large land-moving truck. The tagline: “One platform. Maximum power. Any size company.”

Via is one of New England’s largest independent shops. It has been on a winning streak of late, adding assignments from Guardian Industries, LoJack and Maidenform since the year began. Other key clients include Analog Devices, Dunkin’ Donuts, HP Hood and TD Banknorth. The agency also has offices in Boston and New York.
