BOSTON Havas today in a statement said shareholder Vincent Bolloré is seeking four seats on the holding company’s board of directors.
Bolloré’s move had been expected, since Havas two weeks ago asked him to clarify his stance on obtaining board representation [Adweek Online, March 13]. Havas’ next shareholders meeting is scheduled for June 9.
In additon to himself, Bollore is seeking seats for three members of his management team: Thierry Marraud, Marc Bebon and Cedric de Bailliencourt.
