BK, Wendy’s Debut Fresh Look in Ads

Wendy’s introduced “Mr. Wendy,” the new face of the brand, last Friday in the first of seven new spots by IPG’s McCann-Erickson in New York. In the work, the character tells people about the chain’s burgers and salads. Separately, Burger King has resurrected its 1974 tagline, “Have it your way,” with its first work from Crispin, Porter + Bogusky in Miami. One spot, which broke last Thursday, depicts office workers in a contest to create custom hamburgers.
