BDS Marketing, a sales and marketing-services firm in Irvine, Calif., has hired Mark Karnes as director of client strategy. Karnes will work with new and existing clients to offer integrated services to fulfill their business objectives and maximize results. He joins from Motorola Corp., where he was director of retail marketing for the personal communications sector.
