NEW YORK Bartle Bogle Hegarty has hired Ben Slater, an account leader and new business chief at Clemmow Hornby Inge in London, to become the shop’s sixth group account director in New York.

Slater will start in August and report to both office CEO Gwyn Jones and Sarah Thompson, head of account management. In addition to account duties, Slater will contribute to new business pitches, said BBH North American chairman Steve Harty. “That’s a fast-rising agency,” Harty said, referring to Clemmow Hornby, “and he has been a key part of it.”
