NEW YORK Arnold’s two new television commercials for Volkswagen position the 2005 Jetta as “All grown up. Sort of.”

The 30-second spots by the Havas shop in Boston, “Airport” and “Independence Day” (which also has a 60-second version), show people who seem grown up in many respects but not all.

In “Airport,” a man is driving prospective business partners to an airport (it was shot at Los Angeles International) in his Jetta.
