Arnold Rebrands KPMG Consulting

BOSTON–KPMG Consulting on Wednesday relaunches as BearingPoint with its first work from Arnold introducing the tagline, “Business and systems aligned. Business empowered.”

The client in McLean, Va., hired Arnold in July after spinning off from KPMG’s Montvale, N.J.-based accounting operation, which continues to use J. Walter Thompson in New York for ads.

BearingPoint’s global multimedia effort features pro golfer Phil Mickelson, who in one spot is seen changing his KPMG visor to one with the name “BearingPoint.” Spending was estimated at $40 million when Arnold’s McLean office added the business in the summer.
