Arnold Exec Moves to Midwest Shop

CHICAGO Interpublic Group’s Carmichael Lynch has hired Arnold creative director Tim Brunelle as an executive creative director overseeing interactive, a new position according to the shop.

Brunelle will join the Minneapolis agency in mid-April and report to chief creative officer Peter McHugh. With Jim Nelson and Andy Clarke, he will be one of the shop’s three executive creative directors and will work on expanding the agency’s interactive and alternative media capabilities.

“Tim will work with Jim, Andy and me to ensure that every CL brand is doing category-defining work online,” said McHugh in a statement.

For the past nine years, Brunelle worked on integrated projects for Havas’ Arnold in Boston. His campaign credits include working on “Pods Unite” for Volkswagen and Apple, turbonium.com and a multimedia effort for Goodyear.
