CHICAGO Arby’s has placed the national creative portion of its ad account in review. Doner, which has handled the business since 1987, has declined to participate, the agency said.

The client in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., spends about $100 million annually on ads.

Consulting company Wanamaker in Atlanta next week will send requests for proposals to 15 agencies and the process is now “closed” to further contenders, said Ken Bowes, president of Wanamaker. He declined to identify the shops that will be asked to participate, though he said Doner was invited into the process.
