Another DDB Alum Arrives at Arnold

NEW YORK Celia Williams last week joined Arnold Worldwide as head of broadcast production in New York, where she will rejoin fellow DDB alum and the agency’s executive creative director, John Staffen. She is the third former DDB staffer recruited by Staffen in three months.

“John approached me in the late fall and I thought, ‘What a fantastic opportunity,’ ” said Williams, 44. “I have great respect for the work that comes out of the agency, and this agency has wonderful policies about work life.”

Williams had most recently been the executive producer at Endless Noise and Music Sound Design in Los Angeles. Before that, she was at DDB Chicago and then New York, working on accounts including McDonald’s, Anheuser-Busch, Helene Curtis, Hershey’s and the New York Lottery. Williams worked most closely with Staffen at DDB New York, where she was head of production for more than two years.

“Celia’s combination of taste, work ethic, grace and experience make her perfect for taking Arnold New York to the next level. Production excellence is a priority for us and we are building on that with this new hire,” Staffen said in a statement.

In her new role, Williams will be responsible for overseeing all New York office accounts, which include the Bermuda Department of Tourism, GlaxoSmithKline, Hasbro, McDonald’s and the U.S. Tennis Association.

In October, Staffen hired creative team Thom Baginski and Gary Rozanski, both of whom worked with him during his term at DDB New York.
