Hotel and gaming chain Ameristar Casinos awarded its ad account to Pyro Brand Development. The business is estimated to be worth more than $10 million.
Las Vegas-based Ameristar tapped the Dallas agency following an extensive nationwide search. Other contenders were not disclosed.
Previously, the agency of record was GMO/Hill, Holliday (formerly Goldberg Moser O’Neill) in San Francisco. GMO parted ways with the client over financial issues, according to the agency.
Pyro principal John Beitter said his agency was initially asked to prepare a pitch for one Ameristar property, The Reserve in Las Vegas.
