A Harris Poll asked adults to identify their favorite sports star. Michael Jordan ran second to Woods, despite having not played an NBA game since 2003. Brett Favre, who may or may not have retired from the National Football League, came in third, with basketball’s Kobe Bryant and auto racing’s Jeff Gordon filling out the top five.
The poll also complied rankings for respondents’ favorite female sports stars.
