Co-founder Shannon Steps Down co-founder Kyle Shannon is stepping down from his day-to-day responsibilities and assuming an advisory role at the New York-based i-shop, according to sources.

Most recently, Shannon was evp of the shop’s Applied Concepts Lab, a group dedicated to identifying new concepts and applications for clients.

Sources said Shannon’s decision was based in part on his desire to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors and the company’s need to reduce executive-level overhead. Shannon did not immediately return phone calls.

Shannon founded in 1995 with Chan Suh, who remains chairman and CEO. He served as chief creative officer from 1995-2000 and chief people officer from 2000-2001.
