MSE in Westbrook has completed a direct mail project for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Associates in New Haven and has been hired to launch an identity campaign for the Connecticut Oncology Group, which has offices in Guilford and Middletown. The agency is also producing a managed-care audio newsletter for Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Connecticut.
Five Bay State agencies took home honors at the 69th annual Echo Awards for excellence in direct marketing, held Oct. 11 in San Francisco. Silver winners included Epsilon in Burlington for Covenant House; Orsatti & Partners in Boston for ShopLink; Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing in Boston for the Islands of the Bahamas; and Mullen in Wenham for Nextel Communications. Orsatti & Partners also picked up a bronze for BankBoston, as did Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston for former client Budget Rent A Car.
Snyder Communications in Bethesda, Md., the parent company of Arnold Communications in Boston, has been awarded a $6 million contract from Zeneca Pharmaceuticals to provide field sales management and other services throughout France for the global conglomerate’s line of prescription drugs. Snyder already works for Zeneca in the U.S., providing sales support for its Accolate asthma remedy.
