These hot and cool spots crossed borders. Vote for your favorite

As the tulips pop and the winter garb is tucked away in the backs of closets, some of the brands that gave us our biggest ad hits of the week looked forward to the summer days ahead. Others touched on important topics in ways that surprised and inspired. And they spanned the globe, from the U.S. to the U.K. to Brazil, sometimes in the same ad.

Our carefree picks come from Turkish Airlines, which finally nailed an elaborate pool dunk after 22 attempts; the Tramontina cookware company, which gave us a true bible of barbecue; and British retailer John Lewis, which celebrated its 150th anniversary with a great journey through the past.

We also have the CNA language school, which took young Brazilians trying to learn English and paired them with lonely seniors in the U.S. for reciprocal benefits; and Save the Children, which offered a bit of surprising clickbait with its "sexy model video."
