A half-dozen pieces of business have followed Alan Epstein to Adamson Advertising, St. Louis, from his former agency across town, Kupper Parker Communications.
Epstein’s acrimonious departure from Kupper Parker [Adweek, Aug. 25] resulted in a lawsuit filed by KP alleging the former agency partner and head of new business violated a noncompete agreement. Epstein contends that no such agreement exists, and the litigation is pending.
Epstein left the agency on Aug. 14 after KP executives said they caught him copying key agency documents concerning its Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken client.
Epstein said he resigned; the agency said he was fired.
